Day one - Meeting Africa

Hi friends!

Good morning Africa! We are finally, after a 31-hour long trip, in Maseru, capital of Lesotho. After a few hours on the flight from Oslo via London to Johannesburg, with a following couple of hour-long drive, I can say - with great joy - we are here!

And I got to tell you; this country is amazing! The landscape will blow any mind away. Which correspond well to the people we’ve met so far. Speaking as a person who has never been in this country, I can already say I’m in love, and I cant wait to see more of it.

Luckily for me, I’m traveling with Kristian who has been here several times, and know the place very well. He also knows quite a few African phrases, which makes it easier to communicate with the locals. To me they sound impossible to learn, but hopefully some of them will catch on.

Tomorrow I will have a lot more to both tell and show you, as we are going to meet some of the children PictureAid have given education, and I am really looking forward to it. I have only seen the pictures Kristian have taken earlier, and from what it seems, and from what I’ve heard, the kids are wonderful, as well as the places they live. I mean, you can see it yourself here. I will show you some behind the scenes shots tomorrow, as we are making the movie for the homepage.

Hope you will keep on reading, as our adventure in Lesotho goes on. Have a great night!
